The English Garden - Photos from my walk!
Hello everyone!
I took a little walkabout yesterday to a large park in our city. It's one of my favourite places because of two of the two gardens. Today I'm going to post a bit about the first one: The English Garden.
This is the entrance to The English Garden with the little boy and his eternally leaking boot. I have loved this place since I was a child. I thought it was so beautiful and magical.
Nice place for fairy houses too, eh?
It's a very cultivated garden, as English gardens tend to be. Many of the garden beds are sponsored by or dedicated to various organizations in the city like charitable groups or professional groups.
With lots of pathways and garden beds for you to explore and enjoy. It's always so full of life and colour.
And many beautiful flowers! I don't have a lot of practice photographing flowers but this bell flower really caught my eye so I practiced a bit.
There's lots of beautiful architectural elements that I enjoy.
And here's me getting some practice with a more stylized shot of the same fountain. I mostly went for reference photos for a story I'm working on so many of the photos are rather plain but it was good to get in some proper photography practice too.
I love the sun dial!
