It's been sunny lately and I've been extremely busy outside! These shots are from last week, I'm super behind in sharing photos, stinkin' life getting in the way of my STEEMin/PALin and STEEMCRAFTING! (Yes, I'm beta testing SteemCraft where you earn Steem for killing mobs.)
My landlord's fish house got some more solar panels. It's so funny, he actually has moved in there now! Living the Dream if you ask me! He's a kid at heart, he used to hang out in that fish house as a youngster with his pals, and now is going back to that life, permanently.
Everything is getting greener than green now. Beautiful foliage on the ground everywhere...what you see in the above photo actually turns into white flowers soon! Perfect for bare footing, but watch out for those bees!
The crab apple tree in the front has bloomed, that's always a highlight for me, it has the most beautiful flowers...
And actually I will be out with my camera TODAY because the other apple trees decided to go full bloom yesterday, I have 11 of them on this land, it's my favourite time of the year by FAR! The ocean has warmed up, so the smells are just delightful...salt, fish, blossoms...Hobbit Heaven (if you are a seafaring Hobbit like me).
A bit of a rushed post, can you tell by my typing how hurried I am? I need to go start hauling soil, gathering rocks for some garden borders, and pulling weeds, was I complaining about that month of rain?? FML! You don't know what you got til it's gone LOL! I miss you #STEEMFAM!!!
Loving those pictures and I am pretty sure I can smell that smell from up here. You will be pleased to know that my Russet Apple trees in the back have blossoms this year. So that means Russet Apples this fall to mix with potatoes and pork. Oh yummy ya. Ya Mark is living the dream for sure in that boat house. Who needs anything more than a boat and a house on the water. There is a boat dealer up in Glen Haven on the 333 and he has expanded his place. So every time we drive past this real nice boat. Hmmm. soon maybe. I love that spot of Mark's and I love the other spot even more with the white cottage. Wish he would give me that land and I will clean it up. Buy hey lots of work to do up here in my house in the trees. Nice pics. oh I said that. xx

I think if you look on the roof there it is. ha...the boat is really still in the works and we talked about it today again. This will be the year of the windows, but still have that boat right up there. It may be..the year of another cruise. lol. now that is a boat. I am excited about the apples though..for real. you know me and fall food. xx

Yes, it is minecraft, and I spend most of my time mining and building pretties LOL! But you can only earn steem by killing certain mobs (bad guys).

I just got an answer to my question in the PAL discord, so I thought I would share:
Answer: "Currently there is an issue that PAL doesn't have decimal points, this is being fixed as we speak and should be available soon."
So I asked: So should I refrain from small votes on PAL until the decimal point thing is fixed, or will they get the decimal amounts anyway when it rolls out?
Answer: "it appears that currently anything that gives under 1 pal goes back into the rewards pool which is really unfortunate."
"ETA is supposed to be within a week, lets hope its quicker even but a week should be tops."
...so I'm going to save my votes here for posts, until the decimal points roll out. :)
Okay, awesome to know thank you for doing that digging! Yes, my 100% uv doesn't seem to do anything over there, but still gives my buddies that sweet steem anyways :) :) Looking forward to how PAL evolves!!
Ohhhhhh I see! I didn't know there were any fighting elements to Minecraft at all, I've never played. LOL. I thought it was just worldbuilding like SimCity type stuff!
Hey, question - is there a PALcoin equivalent to dust vote problems? Like we're almost all plankton in PAL terms, so our votes aren't giving much PAL - are they being lost, or do we get the dust PAL here?
Yes there is quite the fighting in it actually LOL and it's set to difficult so even my sons who are experienced players have a lot of trouble when they go to fight mobs. They like it though, because it's challenging them!
You do have a lovely spot to live! I've never lived by the sea, so I don't know what that's like.
Our local apple trees are done blooming now, but they were quite nice while they were in bloom.
There are definitely ups and downs of being right on the ocean water... Corn... forget it! 4 years now I'm trying to have success with it, still gonna try it again, I keep moving the patch to find somewhere it would like to grow here...
In the dead of summer it gets so humid that it feels like your bed is wet when you go to sleep...
Other than that though, it's pretty friggin AWESOME!!

I want to have a house with solar panels too! They are getting popularity fast here. But in my city wind stations are better, it's windy all the time! I hate it:))

Looks great. It probably smells so good there outside. I love walking outisde where there are alot of trees because it smells so clean
Oooh yes, and the warmer it gets, the more sap smells there are too...I love walking through the woods in the middle of summer, it always brings me memories of going camping as a child :)
