  1. A German guy (I forget his name; google it!) started the Paralympic Movement in 1948 to rehabilitate World War-2 soldiers. A German? Seriously?

  2. An athlete having polio won 8 gold medals back in the 1900, 1904 & 1908 Olympics before the Paralympics began.
    Can you even imagine that? I can.
    That thing has happened a century ago when there was hardly anybody (I mean the athletes themselves) who gives a damn about Olympics.
