Nice article! It's too bad that steemit is really encouraging buying/selling votes to bots. I use steemengine which is more of a vote for vote system and it seems to work but I rather good content stick out by itself..!
You get what you put in...
Personally I load my account and power-up with real funds (from mining or my pocket). As a marketer there's no difference using bots or influencer marketing in comparison to using the 'Promote Button'; except that it is more effective.
In this particular post, it's necessary to get the word out as soon as possible.
