Competition = Better Quality
When I was a kid, I looked back at the Pro Wrestling period of the mid to late 90s as the best time to be a wrestling fan. WWF versus WCW was simply amazing.
Why? Because there was more than one promotion competing for my viewership. In 2001 when Vince McMahon bought WCW, it led to a slow but steady decline in wrestling quality. Nowadays, AEW is proving the axiomatic title of this post true.
The same can be said of social media: the more platforms you have, the better the quality gets.
