I will participate in the engagement challenge today with my flan or pudding recipe. I love to make different recipes and I learn recipes from different users through steemit platform. So let's start. .

Yes I made the pudding recipe at home. We call this flan recipe pudding recipe. My husband loves to eat sweet food. It is sweet to eat and delicious to eat. Moreover, this dish is very well known in our country or region. This pudding recipe is prepared on various social occasions like turmeric ceremony. Also village people prepare this pudding recipe instead of cake. Because it is very easy to make and requires less ingredients.

prepared method


  • First step - First I put milk in a blender. Then break an egg and put it in the milk and add some sugar, vanilla flavour. Then blend it all together well.

  • Second step - Now I will pour the milk from the blender into a container. Now put some sugar in a bowl and stir it well with a spoon until it turns caramel. If the caramel is hot, I will take it off the stove and pour it into the bowl I will be making the pudding.

  • Third step - When the caramel cools down in the bowl, I will add the milk that has been bland in between.

  • Fourth step - Put a big pot in the oven and put an iron rod in it and add a small amount of water. Now I will carefully place the bowl of milk on the iron hook. Then I will cover it with a small earthen lid.

  • The fifth step - now I will cover with another big lid and keep it for about forty-five minutes. After 45 minutes, I will insert a toothpick or a stick into the pudding and take it out and observe whether the milk mixture has stuck between the wood. Alhamdulillah. Nothing sticks. That is, I have flan.

  • Sixth step - Now take the bowl of pudding out of the pot and cool it normally. Then put it in the fridge for an hour. Then take out and loosen the sides of the pudding from the bowl with a knife. After that, I will pour it upside down in another container. My flan recipe is done.

✓ Did you have any difficulty making your flan?

I have made flan type pudding earlier too Alhamdulillah now I can make very good pudding. Even though I have an oven I prefer to make it on the stove. As long as the quantity is right then there is no problem. But the first day I made it the recipe broke for me while setting. I couldn't set it as an amount. However, now I can make this recipe from caramel to perfection. Anyone can easily make this recipe by following step by step.

✓ Do you have any special tips for making flan? Share it.

Yes, my special advice for making flan is that the vessel in which you make the flan ie this recipe must be covered with a lid and while filling another large vessel with water, cover it with a large lid so that the pabna escapes.

To make this recipe you must give all the ingredients in quantity otherwise you will not get the perfect result.

When you make caramel you have to turn off the stove when it's a light color or it will discolor and turn bitter.

Set the pan in which you will make the pudding while it is still hot. Care should be taken that you never handle the caramel when it is hot as it will burn your hands. The first day I made the pudding I accidentally dropped it with my hands to set the caramel well and burned my hands. Now I prepare the recipe keeping these in mind.

Oh... me parece muy interesante el metodo de cocción que utilizaste, le agrega algun sabor ahumado?

Se ve muy firme y alto tu flan, apetecible y con muchos huequitos. No le quites caramelo jejeje eso es lo que le da frescura a cada bocado.
