Is Islam a dangerous religion?

in #peace7 years ago

A Great man once said that don't speak about anything untill you saw it with your eyes or heared woth your ears. So there are alot of misconceptions about Islam in today's world. A lot of people don't even know what exactly Islam is and what are it's teaching besides that they have anti-islamic mind. We should respect religions, belifs or the ideology of any person on this Earth. As far as Islama is concerned , Islam strongly Condemned the terrorists even In the Holy Book of Islam it is mentioned that some day a group of people will emerge and kill people in the name of Allah,in the name of Islam but these are the ones which don't have any belonging woth neither God nor Islam.Islam is a peaceful religion . Try to respect every one

Sort:

islam is not dangerrous, who the dangers are people in backside with the doctrines and porpaganda . humans peacefull, peace of world

Yeah .I totally agree. Islam isn't dangerous but our behaviour , our mindset and most importantly some of our islamic leaders are trying to promote propoganda.

Let's look at this logically:

  • All religions are inherently dangerous because they historically encourage people to do things that are dangerous or destructive in the name of their religion

  • All religions are also inherently subversive because they typically push for more power for their religion at the cost of all others that are not part of it

  • All religions are inherently dictatorial because they have some chosen leaders or few that lead the religion without any control or discussion from their followers

  • All religions try to control and subvert representative law and governments they do not already basically own because they believe their religion should have majority control of it

  • Most religions (rather than just spirituality) do not work according very simple and clear logic, e.g. "no harm to others", "love God above all things and love your neighbor as yourself", "inherent protection of the weak and innocent", "freedom of thought, discussion, and expression", etc.. and I mean equivalent freedom FOR EVERYONE and not just the followers of their religion

  • Some religions are far more dangerous than others because they institutionalize these above dangerous and destructive tendencies at their core

  • The more a religion institutionalizes these above dangerous and destructive behaviors either overtly or covertly (and there are religions that do this covertly so as not to be seen publicly as doing these behaviors), the more dangerous the religion is

Now ask yourself, where does Islam fall into this spectrum? Then you have your answer.

People are not inherently bad regardless of the religion they profess, but religions and ideologies are more dangerous than anything else on the planet since they subvert true logic and reason. People do insanely horrible and destructive things based upon religions and ideologies. These people are even convinced that what they are doing is the right thing even if it has absolutely no logic or proof to it whatsoever. This is the true danger of religion and ideologies (e.g. communism, atheism, socialism, anarchism, technocracy, etc.) They must be based at their core upon full and permanent personal freedom, logic, and thoughtful communal discussion and expression FOR ALL, otherwise they are inherently destructive by their nature.

Brother its the beauty of Islam that every word in Islam is understandable and logocal as well...Unless you try to understand it..And no religion is radical,it's the followers that make it either radical, dangerous or Peaceful,Submissive to God which is it's true essence

Please re-read my above questions very carefully and objectively and answer them honestly to yourself and in your heart. I'll leave it at that..

Thats what i said.Islam is full of Logics, freedom and islam don't push anyone to follow it. It is a guidance if you want to follow it it's upto you.Otherwise you have the right to expeess your thoughts. And i'd like to disagree with you. No Religion is dangerous unless it is being followed in its true essence.

I recommend watching this very objective and logical video on the teachings of Islam and then try answering my above questions again..
