I have yet to find anybody on the Right bitching about Williams getting off scot-free.

Just in case the leftists are still musing about whether or not Daniel Penny would have been treated more harshly by the legal system if he were black, or making declarations about how the Right or the libertarians might have treated the case differently -- every educated person has had the answer for more than a year.

Jordan Williams killed a homeless man on the New York subway during the same period of time as the Jordan Neely incident.

A homeless dude hit Williams's girlfriend. Williams pulled a knife that he was illegally carrying, and stabbed the homeless man to death.

Granted, the Williams incident happened in Brooklyn, outside of Bragg's jurisdiction. Still, the charges were dropped, even for the illegal knife.

I have yet to find anybody on the Right bitching about Williams getting off scot-free. Libertarians have been vocally supportive of Williams, and his right to self-defense. What's more, obviously, libertarians aren't too keen on any laws that restrict the right to carry a weapon for self-defense.

Williams is black. Williams was treated better by the legal system than Penny despite clearly and obviously breaking the possession law. The Right and the libertarians who were aware of the case were supportive. The leftists who were aware of the case were generally supportive of Williams while being hostile to Penny.

So, in this case, the Right and the libertarians were morally and intellectually consistent regardless of race. The leftists treated the two men differently on the bases of race.
