Entry # 5 Beautiful Mess
How we see things reflect what's inside of us. It entails our exposure in life as well as our character.
For someone inclined to having obsessive compulsive disorder, this picture with many fallen organic matter on the floor could be a trigger for the need to put things in order. At worst, it could easily serve as a reason to judge the property owner as lazy if not poor in upkeeping.
While for those who thirst for something that's beyond the conventional, the picture could be viewed through an art lover's point of view or simply a nostalgia about one's memory of the past with the same sight of arrangement.
I just qouted a few variables out of the many factors that results to the reaction from a simple picture.
I simply want to make a point that the things we encounter in life could make or break our day depending on how we wanna perceive things
Viewing something as undesirable sets the tone towards discomfort (therefore self-inflicted) while deciding to look at the silver lining out of something elevates the encounter as more a valuable experience.
As another week begins, how do we want to welcome it?
