it's not easy being green, just ask matt powers of 'the permaculture student'. matt has worked hard to provide food independence for he and his family as well as others interested in the subject of permaculture.  so much so that matt has printed his own series of books.  he is now teaching permaculture principles and techniques to grade school students.

for a time matt and his family lived in central missouri and worked with the well-known heritage seed purveyor 'baker creek' http://www.rareseeds.com/ but has relocated back to northern california to continue his own farming practices and restoration of the land he has been farming for some time.  check out his website and permaculture courses at  http://www.thepermaculturestudent.com/shop/the-permaculture-student-2-pre-order-only

I've been subscribed to Mat for awhile now on youtube. He is always so good at educating . I find his way of describing permaculture practices very easy to understand.

He has a very infectious manner that encourages the viewer
