Four years ago, I was overwhelmed by debt exceeding one million RMB.
It was through content creation that I managed to fully repay it.

I entered the crypto space to escape the underdog role in Web2.
When I first ventured into Web3, I had almost no starting capital.

Everything I've built since then—every bit of savings—came from airdrop farming, driven by relentless effort and persistence.
At the time, I was naive.

I witnessed altcoins in the last bull run surging tenfold or even a hundredfold.
So, I formed a misguided thought:

“Don’t sell the airdrops.
Hold onto them.
If I farm a million RMB worth, and it multiplies ten times—that’s ten million!”

After farming for two to three years, my paper profits from airdrops definitely surpassed one million RMB.
But what was the outcome?

Instead of rising tenfold, most plummeted dozens of times in value, shattering my hopes completely.

Stark: from over ¥2 down to ¥0.1

Zk: from over ¥0.2 down to ¥0.04

W: from over ¥1 down to mere cents

Thus, my biggest error in airdrop farming wasn’t “missing the opportunity”—it was succumbing to diamond hands.
In plain terms: I was excessively greedy.
To be brutally honest: I acted foolishly.

But today, the landscape has shifted.

Back then, any new project could easily reach a market cap of tens or hundreds of billions in FDV.
Now? Most launches are valued at just a fraction of that.

We also owe thanks to the growing convergence of crypto and traditional finance.

Previously, crypto was an isolated bubble—prices dictated by insiders.
Now, as crypto integrates with stock markets, reality sets in:
If real-world companies with solid business models are worth only a few dollars per share,
why should a whitepaper spanning a few pages command billions?

So, after all this reflection, here’s my core message:

Crypto remains one of the few sunrise industries with low entry barriers and high return potential—offering ordinary people a prime chance to transform their lives.

Airdrop farming does generate income—often exceeding top-tier white-collar salaries in major cities.

Without initial capital, airdrop farming is nearly your only viable path to wealth.

We farm airdrops today so that one day, we no longer need to.
