persuasive communication class

Hi,,,, how are you guys,, wish u always in good health in the middle of this covid, stay health and safe…

Last week, I learned about persuasive communication for auditor. Sometimes, in my job, I have to interview someone about some issues which is happen in office. In that time, we need some skills to see their body language when we ask them a question, or we need some persuasive communication skills to make them believe for agreeing, accepting or doing something.

The lecturer, Mrs Poppy Amalya, one of the famous motivator in Indonesia. She is so amazing, beautiful and smart woman. U can check her profile in website www.poppysangmotivator.com, if you want. This is the second time we invited her to teach us. The first one was two years a go. We learned about micro expression, and this year, we learn about persuasive communication.

It takes two days :

  1. First day we learn about :
    a. Definition of persuasive communication
    b. Type of persuasive
    c. Knowing human brain
    d. State control
    e. Building raport

  2. Second day we learn about :
    a. Eye accesing cues
    b. Persuasive sentence
    c. Hypnotic language patterns
    d. Reframing
    e. Clean and clear communication

Its great you know, combination between micro expression and persuasive communication.

In micro expression, Mrs Poppy teach us how to read body language. For example, when we ask someone about something, we can know wether they lie or not by seeing their eyes, hand gesture, the movement of their feet or body.

In good persuasive communication, it can help us to get what we want. For example, people are easily influenced by someone they like. We called it liking, one type of persuasive. If you have a daughter, and she is fans of famous singer such as black pink from South Korea, then its possible for her doing every single thing that is doing by black pink.

Or we can use clean and clear communication such as, when someone said, “all supervisor always make problems”. The wrong response for this sentence is “have you never caused a problem?” and The right response for this sentence is “who exactly is the supervisor causing the problem? when did they cause problem?”

That is simple explanation and example.. if you joint this class, it would be much more fun. Oh ya, Mrs Poppy always give us a gift if u can answer her question… and at this time, I got umbrella.. yeaaayy…
