The new dog, and another new dog!
Two weeks ago, I was given EMMA, the cutest little dog anyone has ever seen. You guys might remember the post.
Just a couple of days later, I had my heart broken by her original owners who claimed her back due to a family disagreement about her.. I traveled north without her and was super disappointed.
Just a couple of days later, my roommate told me that there was a 10-months old german sheppard who needed a new home!
So now we have this little fellow in our home, trying to decide on whether to keep him or not!
His name is Legolas ( at the moment, at least). He is huge. And yet a puppy, therefore quite naughty...
I know that this breed is a handful. He is definitely enjoying his time with us, but we need to figure out if we're up for the task!
Anyone with experience with German Sheppards?
Hey that’s a good looking and useful breed right there!
I also have a dog and he’ll be 2 years in few days, I’m making a pet photo contest with a good prize. Feel free to join with your pet ❤️
You should talk to @RossDCurrie. He adopted me when I was 18 months old and I am certainly a handful... totally worth it though! (I think!!)
German Shepherds are totally a high maintenance dog, so don't get one unless you're really sure you can put in the time.
I need to be walked, played with, and trained, every day... and I still wake my owner up most days at 5am because I'm just so gosh darned full of energy!
He doesn't mind too much though, because I'm great!
Thanks! Its good to hear it from someone who really knows how it is to be a Shepherd! I’ll make sure to follow both you and Ross.
Så søt! Burde jo hete Rex?
Rex, Cujo, Lego, Sigve, .. mange gode kandidater.
Haha ikkje kall an Sigve i hvertfall please!
So beatifull! Nice to meet you legolas!
LE GO LAS...
They are loyal animals, I think you should take care of it, you will not regret it.
Aaaw..
Takk for flott svar!
Omg I love GSDs! Here's a nappy pic of mine :)
Hello, I have no experience with German shepherd, but I can tell you that it is the most intelligent race, you can teach many things and are very faithful and loving companions, if in your house there are children you will not have any problem with them, they are very delicate.
I have three schnauzer and I can tell you that I went home with a German shepherd and they are super educated dogs
