Roses can be said so many things. Meaning, uses, quotes, ...
It is a very charming flower, the queen of flowers, and I must say that photographing roses is always very stimulating. The varieties are very different among them in shapes, colors, portraiture, perfume ... With roses you never get bored.
I do not think there is any other flower like that.

The story often recalls this flower in many heraldic symbols and the mythology contains several stories that have as protagonists this flower.
The ancient Romans told the beautiful story of the goddess of flowers and spring whose name was Flora who asked the other gods to transform her friend who had died in a beautiful flower. All the gods gave something and the result was the birth of a new and beautiful flower: the rose.

It is said that also that Confucius in his rich library had 600 books on the cultivation of this flower ....
But there are so many legends that every culture and in every time have been dedicated to this flower. Sign of their universally always recognized beauty.
