Somewhat Cool?
So Monday here in Roodepoort started to get Seriously cold , and speaking to FG, she said it was 13degrees Centigrade according to her Car Thermometer,
but was expected to go down to minus 3 degrees!
As I am always busy outside started finding things to do in the Garage.
This is Scarlett , Wayne's not quite 6 month old Ridgeback.
Scarlett's Water bowl was solid ice on Tuesday Morning , I threw it out and refilled for her
This picture shows the ice at 1500 Hrs in the Afternoon.( still there the next morning!)
I have been trying to get the Ranger Bakkie going again put this Motor in last week , but still quite a bit to do , exhausts don't fit the pipes etc.
Even with Gloves on the wind was bitter where the vehicle is situated , so working on scenarios for other Posts on Steemit seemed a so much Better idea?

In South Africa , we are not really geared up for cold as we do not really have that many cold spells in our Winter!

Scarlett is adorable and yes it has been quite chilly this week.
I think it is better outside than in my house - like a fridge - burning the heater from early at night
Living south of Durban, loving this cooler weather, first time this winter actually moved into long slacks and closed shoes...
No shorts and slops, big leap for mankind in this area, just feeling a bit of winter....

Evidently , When a Ridgeback has a litter, there is always one , that does not have the Ridge, they would be culled as you could not risk breeding with them?
Wayne got Scarlett at a considerably reduced price , because of this , as he had no intention of Breeding with her. She was supposed to be a companion for Rollo , his Bull Terrier, who disappeared three weeks after Scarlett arrived, a very sore point. I spend at least an hour per day , playing with her, if she gets annoyed a ridge rises the full length of he back.
