Insidental Singer

I do hope you can enjoy your life so far,, hehe

Last night, my colleagues and I went to Medan, North Sumatra, to attend one of prestigious event in a great Islamic university here namely State Islamic University of North Sumatera.

So, what is the event?

I attend the Doctorate Promotion of a senior lecturer in our campus, State Islamic Institute of Lhokseumawe. I usually call her Bunda Nurhayati.

The agenda which started at 2 O'clock is opened formally by the head of examination, Prof. Dr. Syukur Khalil, MA. Once delivering a brief description in 15 minutes by Bunda Nur, several questions was directed by the first examiner, Prof. Dr. Simah Nurhadi, MA.

One of the challenging question is when Prof Simah asked Bunda Nurhayati to perform a song related to her dissertation. She then tried to sing a song, but she recognized that her voice is not good to hear.

Suddenly, Bunda Nurhayati ask permission to the examiners to give a chance to someone can sing "Peurateb Aneuk". She directly stared at me and ordered me to come forward. MasyaAllah,,, what is this??? We never talk about this before, dear steemians.

Then with a great fear feeling, I stepped by step came and stood in front of the examiners, next to the Promovenda, Bunda Nurhayati.

I sang "Peurateb Aneuk" which is the common song I performed before my children going to bed.
Do you know how was my feeling in the midst of the song? I lost my mind as there is a lyric shown through InFocus. Meanwhile, I have my own lyric embedding my new baby born daughter "zeynab".

To avoid of loss control, I sang smoothly as usual. So, the song become like follows:
"Lailaahaillallah kalimah tayyibah paying pages,
Rayeuk Zeynab didalam Ayon
Tajak Bantu Prang Bela Agama..."

Yeah Steemians, that's my experience today. I love it of course hehehe
