I might need to see an Endocrinologist
I remember this lump on my neck beside my thyroid gland it sometimes gives me a little pain and it has been noticeable for may years. I also noticed that my strength just goes down year after year until I just can't stand without me groaning and struggling just to get up.
Before I was able to wash my own clothes and clean the house but not like an ordinary person because it is still a great effort for me to do such a typical normal people work. Also. I noticed that I can no longer lift a full pail of water, now I can just lift 1/3 of a small pail just to flush the toilet. My father told me to not fflush it by myself but U can't stand an unflushed toilet so I just do it no matter what.
The toilet itself needs an overhaul, it gets flooded when there is a heavy rainfall and the toilet has no flush, itself needs replacement too.
Anyway, my friend @lizzyib had the operation for her parathyroid and it made a difference on the bone pain and possibly regain my strength back immediately. I just need the community to back me up because I can still see hope on my condition. God Bless you all that helps me.
I have a thyroid issue and after medication i was feeling much better. Hope you get the help you need

I will see to it that my Parathyroid could be checked and corrected.
I really think seeing an endocrinologist is the way to go. Once your PTH is elevated it's almost a given your parathyroid glands are enlarged. A scan shouldn't even need to be done. I'm glad the bone doc suggested it too.
Yes @lizzyib I am just sad that it should been checked a long time ago before this issue had happened.
I hope it's not too late that the doctors would give up on me.

It sounds like it could possibly be a swollen lymph node to me.
No @lifeworship66 I know what a swollen lymph gland is and I had it frequently when I was getting recurring infections.
This is different, a hard thyroid gland-like beside the neck.
I wish you a positive outcome.
