Yeah, I know its television. Yeah, I know belittling people sells. Yeah, I know its about ratings.

But for a reality show, the reality of it is, some managers think it's real. That's how they manage.

Yeah, the contestants say he drives them to be the best they can be. Brings out things they never knew what was inside them. Thank him for it at the end.

Well, I would only be on the first episode for about 3 minutes. First contestant to make ala Chef Ramsay served on the floor. Who cares if its TV?

Managing is not degrading the people you have been entrusted with. Bully & harass. How can you build something when all you do is tear it down?

I have worked with countless managers over my 30+ years. The managers who encourage have given me my best years in the business. The "Gordon Ramsey" managers my worse.

It gets to be hard to know when you are doing something wrong when everything you do, even when done right, is wrong.

Learn to praise & acknowledge the good, that way the mistakes people make, stand out & corrected when addressed.

You can not lead by fear. You can not bring success, when everything is a failure. Learn to lead by being positive. Build up attitude & confidence.
