2 days in Cebu City
Cebu City is not a typical place for travellers to visit, most of them only pass by this big chaotic place. Despite this we decided to spend 2 nights here before our flight to Singapore.

Paying only 1200php/night we were satisfied with the place. The room was spacious and it had a private bathroom. Its location wasn’t ideal but I doubt there is a place you could call ideal in Cebu. We called a Grab when we wanted to go somewhere, which came to max 200php per ride depending on where we went.
We did the few things TripAdvisor recommends, including the Magellan Cross, a church close by and Fort San Pedro. They were all ok for a quick visit, but not very significant.

We had the best time in Crown Regency Hotel, which is the tallest hotel building in the Philippines (37 floors). There are lots of things to do in this building, and you don’t have to stay at the hotel to access them.

First we went to the spa on the 16th floor and we bought ourselves a real treat - a 3 hour long couple massage session including a body scrub and a chocolate bath for 3000php for the both of us. It was so relaxing and just what we needed after the long bus journey there from Malapascua. You can have a look at what they offer here: http://www.pranamedispa.com/contact
The other great thing we did in Crown Regency was going to Sky Adventure on the 37th floor. I did zip lining to another building and back and we went on the Edge Coaster together with Peter.
Wed paid 250php entry fee and 250php for each activity per person.
Bear in mind that they don’t operate if it’s raining so only go there in good weather.

The edge coaster was fun too, although a bit scary as well. We enjoyed the view a lot
Crown Regency Hotel also has a gym on the 16th floor that you can visit for 500php entry fee. We didn’t have proper shoes with us so they didn’t let us in, but the equipment seemed quite professional.
Where we ate in Cebu City:
Casa Verde - Near Crown Regency Hotel. American style food, quite nice to try.
KKD Steak & BBQ - Near San Pedro Fort. Filipino style food, also quite a place nice to try. You can sit on the terrace which looks over the sea.
How to get to and out of Cebu:
The city has an international airport called Mactan Airport. We flew out of Mactan Airport to Singapore with Cebu Pacific for £45/person.
We arrived to Cebu from Malapascua (an island to the north of Cebu island) by bus at the North Bus Terminal.

Haha, I even paid for doing it, noone gave me a million dollars :).
But it was quite fun!
Ah!! A three hour massage!! And God the coaster looks scary, but yes I'd do it too, even just for the view :)
The edge coaster was scary for sure, but once you get used to it and you realise you're not going to fall off the building you'll start to enjoy the view :)
