How To Grow A Healthy Organic Lime Tree
Gardening is one of my Mom's pass time. Since she has a green thumb, I usually ask her to plant some veggies just beside our house. One of her plant also is this little lime tree that i bought from farmers few months ago. So she planted this in our mini garden. As few months goes by she then noticed that it is wasn't growing up so well.
So here's what she did:
1.} She transfered it in a wide space, away from any bigger plants.
They believed that if small plant is near with bigger plant it would cause the smaller plant to grow slowly.
2.} She tried to using chicken manure as fertizer.
Chicken manure is used mostly by farmers, used as organic fertilizers as it is rich in nitrogen and some nutrients. However it should be properly composted first before using as fertilizers, as it can burn and kill the plants because of high nitrogen from it.
3.} My mom used flakes from coconut also, she spread it on the leaves.
They believes that it helps the lime tree from growing its flowers and fruits. But I can't find any answers how this coconut flakes helps the lime tree from growing. Or they just used it maybe because of old beliefs.
4.} Lastly of course, water the lime tree regularly, as it needs care also.
Nurturing a plant also needs attention and time.
So after few months of giving care, it grow up so healthy and finally it gives us so much fruits, that we are even giving it away to our neighbors. 😊😊😊
