#Vlog No. 7 Durian(The king fruit)..

The name Durian derive from the Malaysian word "duri" (turn) alluding spiny fruit.
Durian is originated in Brunai,Indonisia and Malaysia.It has been known to the western world for 600 years. Wild known and revered in southeast Asia as the "king fruit ". Durian is distinctive for its large size and unique odour and formidable thorncovered husk.

Many years later also introduced in southeast Asian countries. In 20th centuries started to plant and growth commercially .
Thailand is one of the main countries that export Durian in to the international market.
Durian trees is now being grown in a small scale in other regions such us Australia,Hawaii , Brazil and Sri Lanka.

The lifespan of Durian trees is 80-150 years although they appear to be an inherently living in a centuries.

Did you know Durian was growing in a tropical place such near the equator. Thise plant mostly growing in light sandy and loamy soils. Durian growth 300-800 meters toll.
Durian also growing in the Philippines. Did you know Philippines exporting Durian?And did you know Philippines have also Durian plantations? The Durian plantation was located in Davao Del Sur. The name of farm was Garcia Durian farm and Partuza Durian farm. These two Durian farm was exporting in and out of the country.
