Earth

When you think you have a difficult existence. Does it help to consider that we live upon this big blue marble that is spinning around in space at 1,000 miles per hour, in a universe that is far more more vast than most of us can comprehend?

Does it help to consider that the furthest galaxy that has ever been identified is 13,000 light-years in distance from the Earth, and is only visible through the strongest telescope 'The Splizer Telescope,' using a technique that was only developed within the last 30 years called 'microlensing"?

Does it help to know that our little planet is only a tiny speck of dust in the relative size to our own galaxy?

When you think you have it difficult, does it help to consider that the same moon that orbits our planet is 238,000 miles away?

Does it help to consider that the same moon that we see in our own sky has been looked at by an estimated 100.8 billion people throughout history? The same moon that was orbiting this planet since before there was even life on Earth?

Does it help to consider that those involved in every single war throughout history have looked up at the same moon that we see each night, and many of those wars were battles over land on this tiny blue marble in terms of the universe?

Billions have lived and gone through difficult times during their own lives. Though many have come and gone, the same moon still orbits around the same tiny blue marble that is just a spec of sand in terms of the universe, and it will continue in its orbit long after we're gone.

This video puts it all into perspective.
