Glad you think so...! ;-) I think the 18th century is very important still, since they values of freedom and equaly dignity and so on came from that period, and are what we have to protect today for the future.
In some ways 18th century thought is really relevant now, right when the basic ideas it gave us about human rights and the right ways of living are under attack everywhere. ;-)
