this smacks of entitlement... people are a complex mixture of influences and schemas, someone is as unable to change their behavioural / thought patterns / personality as they are their other traits... if i agree with much that you say at an emotional level, there is no validity for those feelings other than my own self-satisfaction and desire to be better than the ridiculous, weak OTHER.... which makes the Guy Fawkes / V for Vendetta mask even more ironic... they were fighting for the lazy and the disaffected because they understood this was a STRUCTURAL problem not a dispositional one. Guy Fawkes was trying to destroy the 'individualist' mythology you're purporting...
