An Introduction to Ayurveda!
hey Steemians!
I am so excited that my previous post from my Yoga Teacher Training did so well, so I'm feeling super inspired to post more awesome content with you guys!
So I am 3 weeks into a 200HR YTT Certification Course and my mind has been expanding in ways that I cannot even describe. 5 Hours of Yoga Practice per day, Philosophy, Group Dynamics, it has been such a fulfilling experience packed with growth, friendships and the island life!!
Here are a few photos from my experience thus far.

Jason dropping knowledge!
and my yoga practice is becoming so strong 💪
What I wanted to share was this lecture that we had over the weekend, my teacher Jason spoke to us about the science of life, also known as Ayurveda. A traditional way of looking at health and the body.
Here is the google definition of what Ayurveda is -
"Ayurvedic medicine (“Ayurveda” for short) is one of the world's oldest holistic (“whole-body”) healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India. It's based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit."
Anyway, I captured the lecture in it's entirety so that I can bring awareness to this incredible style of healing so that we can all raise consciousness together!
ENJOY!
Love,
Gabriel
Hey! I am a Indian and I know about Ayurveda. I am not saying that I have great knowledge about it, but I certainly know about it. I also take Ayurvedic Medicines regularly. Indians not only have Ayurveda. In India there is also a rich history of Unani pathy which is also a holistic pathy. In India we also have Siddha Ayurved another branch of Ayurved and we also have Kerala Ayurved which is also a branch of Ayurved. Rishi (Sage) Sushrut and Charaka are considered great researchers of ancient Ayurveda and it because of them Ayurveda came to prominence in Ancient India and people like me still trust the old and golden therapy.
wonderful! i am pretty new to it, and i want to share this information with the world!
