Total Recall
Reviewing your day before bedtime helps you to be grateful.
Many people wonder so much about how to make things right, how to live right, do the right things and so on. We are often faced with a lot of challenges on a daily bases. We have good and bad days and each of them we go through it in our mind over and over again for the joy or misfortunes it gives to us.
It is quite interesting to observe that we only engage in this practice on extreme bases. If we can be disciplined enough to discover that the true transformation of our consciousness and our better understanding of life, lays on our ability to go through all that we encountered within the day and evaluate them before we sleep. I guess it will become our daily habit.
I remember when I often find it difficult some days to be grateful over the affairs of the day. It took some courage to look deeper before seeing one. Don’t get me wrong. I remember this old saying “that priorities changes as one gets old.” The best way out is to keep it simple and be grateful. Being healthy, able to eat, a roof over our head, our environment etc. They really worth giving thanks.
Do you know that if we realized these things then things which we often find it difficult to handle based on individuals anyway, becomes easier to deal with, like, forgiveness, accommodating, and tolerance. These are the outwards gifts. Look at it like the process of planting a seed and watch it grow. This act enables us to be fully grateful for those in our lives that always support us in all situations.
it is said that every situation has a purpose and whether good or bad is meant to teach us something. If we can review our daily activities before we sleep each day, will help us to not only understand our self but to learn how to put things in its proper perspective. We need to do this in both good and adverse situations.
Always remember that nothing good comes easily, so trying it for the first few days and you couldn’t find meaning to the practice doesn’t imply that it is a crab, just continue and you will notice it is authentic. Life has a way of putting things we need at the places we are not looking at. Our experiences in life are always a result of things that we have passed through either good or bad in our definition, all turns out to create wisdom, patience, and fortitude. However, it is important to note that our observation of this process will accelerate our growth. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
