RE: Daily Meditation and Mindfulness: Mental Chaos and making life decisions.
Hey buddy, I definitely know the feeling, but I think the unknown is part of the beauty of life. As much as it can generate anxiety to try and figure out the future, I believe it's much better than it would be to know the result of all our actions in advance. As you said yourself, follow your gut. I have come to realize that the worst decision in life is indecision. Any reasonable decision can be reversed to some degree, and at least you will have learned something along the way. Indecision leaves you stuck in one place and feeling miserable. So you know, don't force things, but be ready to make a move once an interesting opportunity presents itself. Btw, trimmer by day / skydiver by night sounds like a lotta fun ;)
Cheers
Haha that would be awesome on a resume.
Your comment really means a lot. The fact you took the time to offer heart felt advice. Yeah I'm trying to accept the ebs and flows of life. Realizing the stages of flow and settling in to what is my reality at the moment. It's trippy to return from exciting extended travel back home haha. Taking action is a great feeling because it helps the anxiety of life subside a little.
have a good one my friend.
I'm glad I could offer another perspective! And I can only imagine how trippy it would be. My girlfriend and I are finishing off some career related things this year and then we are planning to take 6 months to a year off next year to travel and see where life takes us from there. I imagine coming back to "reality" after that will be quite a shock, but I'm super stoked for the experience. Where did you travel to, if you don't mind me asking?
Have a good one also buddy, take it easy.
I was in Barcelona! good for you guys. That will be quite the adventure.
