Here's a warm welcome back to my blog on this stormy Wednesday in June! I'm writing at the end of a long, fulfilling day, which began at 5:30am out picking blueberries with my grandparents! I've had such a lovely full day that I almost forgot to post, and no day is complete without infusing some conscious energy with all of you wonderful people! So, how was your day? Did you do anything exciting and creative? Did you exercise and experience nature? Did you gaze into infinity? Did you enjoy the company of loved ones or maybe strangers? Did you help someone in their walk of life? Did you practice faith in your purpose by actively pursing your dreams? If so, congratulations! You are one of the few leaders in the world we live in!
I never have mentioned this before, but I'd love to do so now: Let's talk about the difference between being a "consumer" vs being a "producer." It's the difference between taking an active role in your purpose in life vs being content to consume the things/ideas/etc. other people produce.
It's very easy to sit in front of the TV everyday instead of engaging your mind to learn and expand your consciousness. Let me put it a different way. The habit of watching TV is a wonderful servant but a horrible master. TV as a servant could be a great tool to let yourself dissolve from the pace of a day's hard work. However, when you structure your life and only sit in front of the TV when you are home, you have allowed it to become your master.
One of the great and extremely scalable facts of the universe is contained in this little statement, "as you sow, so shall you reap." Another way it has been explained is "the more you put into something, the more you will get in return." Yet another way is "everything comes full circle." So, here's my ultimate question for you today: What have you sown today? Furthermore, what is the quality, quantity and consistency of your application? By answering these two questions, we all will face the truth of the reality we have lived today. An honest answer to yourself will cause your love to bloom into fullness, just as the blueberries I picked this morning have arrived at peak ripeness.
As a lasting thought I would love to ask you this question: Isn't it interesting how even in the picture some berries ripen before the other ones do? What I am getting at here is that you must focus directly on yourself to improve and "ripen." No one can or will do it for you. And those who have evolved into their higher selves know the victory to be had. Get stoked for the victories we will experience because private victories make the greatest case for interdependent celebration!!
I love you all!
