Kiev
The Kiev river port and the station are the former main river port of Kiev, located on the right bank of the Dnieper in Podol, the historic part of the city.
The berths of the port stretch from the harbor to the metro station "Dnepr".
Since ancient times, Podol was the shopping center of the city, the goods on which were delivered mainly on water.
Since the XIX century the movement of ships along the Dnieper River began, and the rows of piers stretched along the right bank.
The Kiev river port was built in July 1897.
nice history!
Thank you.
I guess it's right to say Dnipro and Podil, and of course Kyiv. That is how it sounds in Ukrainian.
