Summer on Fire Island

This lovely lady had met me on the walk to work a few times this past summer.
She would just wait and sniff me as I walked past.

This was a sad case, dropped off by our shop after it washed up on the beach. Scientists came and took it in order to perform a necropsy back at their lab.
