Sounds like you have put a lot of thought into this sort of thing. I suppose that we are going to have to come up with some definition of "beauty" which participants can agree upon in order to discuss this topic deeply. For instance, is a property of "beauty" that it cleanly and efficiently fits form to function? Is a guillotine more "beautiful" than a hangman's noose?
