Behind my house are many mangrove trees and kedondong pagar trees, and in the dried fishponds, I can see many white herons catching fish.

There's also my cat White sitting on the bench behind the house after the rain has stopped, relaxing there while watching the chickens and the many white herons.

The photo is a natural composition, depicting the surroundings: plants, birds, water, more plants, cats, old junk... Everything turned out beautifully. Thank you for the invitation.

La foto es una composición natural, que describe el entorno: plantas, aves, agua, plantas, gatos, trastes viejos... Todo quedó muy bien. Gracias por la invitación.

You're welcome my friend, yes....that's the situation around my house, open the kitchen door straight to the fishpond and you can see lots of storks catching fish because the water in the fishpond is dry

Yes, that's why I named him si utih (white brother) because his feathers are white.

This white kitten must be thinking how to hunt one of those herons.

That's right, but to this day, they haven't caught a single stork, but they always manage to bring home small birds, sometimes bringing home three carcasses in one day.

If I saw one when they brought it home and it was still alive, I would take it and care for it until it recovered and then release it back into the wild.

But unfortunately, that rarely happens.

I don't like cats bringing dead animals into the house. Apparently, it means they want to share their delicious meals with their pack. We are part of their pack.
My kitten also brings me mice, lizards, and other little things. It's terrible, hehehe.

Yes, that's absolutely right, my friend. My cats only catch and play with them, but they don't eat them. Usually, they bring them home alive, but because they're used as toys, they end up dying.

If I had seen them from the start, I would have helped them. After they died, they would have just left them.

What kind of fish are grown in the fishpond? It must be very healthy living in this situation where fresh fish can be had everyday. Nice entry. Good luck.

Of course friends, we always eat fresh fish every day, in our fishponds we cultivate milkfish, grouper, shrimp, and crabs too.

You are very fortunate. Except for milkfish all the rest are very expensive here in our place. Grouper especially followed by crabs. I just love these 🫠

Yes, in our area, milkfish and grouper are generally raised, but only when there are plenty of grouper fry in the sea.

People usually go out to catch grouper fry and net them to sell. They also know exactly when the grouper hatch and bring them back to the sea to sell, while others are kept.

When grouper is harvested, they quickly become rich because the price is high, unlike milkfish.

Crabs are expensive during Christmas, New Year, and Chinese New Year. We even once sold a single jumbo crab for Rp 400,000.

Unfortunately, we no longer keep them because they are often stolen.

Are all these birds in the background storks?
