I have to agree, if done right then it's really amazing. Have you ever thought of making a detailed tutorial about it?
I have wanted to but I'll need a second person for shooting it as I use both hands for the technique and I usually use a selfie stick for the vids. I also wouldn't want to leave my phone sitting on a little tripod as there are often sketchy dudes around the casinos.
