So that's my dad in the hat in 1959 at 21 years old. Oh my, what was I doing at 21 years old?

Well I guess I was in College wasn't I? Well into my degree and looking to the future.

I know my dad had a number of odd jobs and some serious ones like working in the mines but music was the one thing he really passed on.

I think just having that imprint on me as a young guy that saw someone making a living from music just somehow made it normal for me.
