This Boy Got A Modelling Contract After Our Test Shoot
This is Ronan Murphy doing his first photoshoot, with yours truly.
I was doing some work for a local beauty school and on this particular day, it was makeup for men. One of the students had brought in her friend who she "always thought should give modelling a go". There were plenty of handsome dudes on the day, but this guy was on another level. A few days later, I delivered the shots to the MUA and Ronan Himself. Within a couple of days, he was causing a real stir on the Irish Facebook pages for models and photographers, garnering hundreds of likes and comments.
Maybe a week or two later, I found out he had been signed to local agency Distinct Model Management. Nowadays, judging by his Instagram, he's busy travelling around Europe, partying, modelling, and living the good life. It feels good to have had a small part to play in his success. He was a really sweet dude.
