I would say it is the most rugged mountain in Australian mainland (ie excluding Tassie).
I'll do some research I think; Sounds like one which a casual approach is not the way to go. Thanks for putting it on my radar.

Nah, the contrary actually, I'm doing my research to see if it will fit into our trip.
It's an amazing place. Winter is the best time to go.
I think we'll be heading out around July 2020 or so to capture the better FNQ weather and so should be ok. I'll check it out and hit you up if I have questions. Much appreciated.
