Just checking in to see who loves some dirt road / off road / overlanding adventures?

I'll be posting lots more come late spring and summer when more roads like this open up.

Driving to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon was a hell of a ride. 60 miles on this "Sunshine Road" after heavy rain, but totally worth it :)

Oh for sure! If it's paved it just doesn't feel like an adventure.

haha well perhaps I'll still count driving on paved roads in Europe!

Keep the "eyecandy" offroad adventure photos coming please!

Yup, I do! Unfortunately my Nissan Pathfinder isn't quite the off road vehicle that my old 4-Runner was but it still impresses me often and has gotten me down some pretty crazy roads. Backpacking trips with the camera is heaven to me.

Beautiful shot and cheers to the 4x4!

What happened to the 4runner?
And they are super capable... lots of 4runners on trips that I do!

My old 87 4runner was my favorite for crazy trails but it needed a new clutch and a lot of other work so I sold it and got a 96 version. That one ended up throwing a rod. The 2012 pathfinder's price was right and it drives incredibly well in the snow, but the clearance makes going on some trails around here a little sketchy.

I like it! My Citroen C4 Grand Picasso doesn't :(

I'll give you a follow.. Im all about rual back woods..

wow, really fabulous photography sir . thanks for @jarvie
