Life focused and unfocused ... a photographic life lesson.

Is the new bight shinny thing a distraction in your picture?
Does it take away attention from where you wished the attention should be (definition of a distraction)

Is it meant to be thought of vaguely but not given in detail?
A restless wondering about what it may be.

Or do you want to Focus on it as it it now has some grand role to play?
Showing the reality with just a nice beautiful aesthetic border around it?

Awesome photos

Stunning shot! beautiful composition. Those blue tones are amazing!

i had no idea that bight is a word. first time i read it like bright, so now i don't know did you miss spell it or were you thinking about curve in the coastline :)
second one is a bit weird, boat is pooling the attention but when you look at it it is just a smudge

Tons of fun shooting and hanging with you! I'm going to agree with @bil.prag and I'm going with the first one. The boat totally grabs attention and deserves to be in focus, in my opinion. It's not one of those darn ugly boats either, haha!

More epic Tahoe shots. Love these. And a very good lesson about Focus. :)

I say you should have used a Lytro and avoided the whole question. :D

are those still around? what ever happend to them?

No idea, but here, finally, is a situation where they would come in handy!

foreground is more awesome than the background. In this photo at least! Nice shot! #tahoe

Did you actually take this, or found it on the web?

I took this this last weekend
