🎧 Music Video Week : Dojo - Soul / making of
Music Video Week Day 5!
Today's video I did for my friend musician Dunja aka Dojo. It was shot on RED MX camera in the woods near Belgrade and national museum in Pančevo.
We had luck while shooting in the woods because that morning the fog was crazy, visibility was, like, two meters, and that gave the perfect atmosphere for the video, but it was goddamn cold. Dunja had to wear a blanket between the shots, and Milenko who played the demon was always running in the car when he was not needed in the shot. Everybody's feet was wet and the spots in the woods that we chose for filming were quite far apart so there was lot of walking.
But it was worth it.
About Dojo:
Dojo is a Serbian singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in Novi Sad. Dojo’s music has been noted for it’s atypical combination of vocal elements, which blends cinematic and atmospheric sound with traditional singing from the Balkans. Musically, she draws influence from Thom York, Pj Harvey, Grimes, Bat for Lashes, Patti Smith, Nina Simone, Philip Glass, John Williams, Massive Attack.
