Phonography: Creating an Artificial Crescent
Here's how I created a photograph of the moon with a walkway light using my mobile phone.
The light stands vertically from the ground, and has a capping. So I simply positioned and pointed my phone camera at the top of the light stand, then slightly tilted the phone diagonally to form the desired moon shape with the beaming light. I used the settings below to achieve the shot.

Exposure Time: 1/250 s
