B&W Photo Contest ~ Highlighting the dark...

Featuring a dark flower in monochrome or black and white is quite a challenge!
It is by far smarter to take the easy way out and feature a white or pale coloured flower, as they tend to show better and prettier...

However, for this, and maybe to challenge myself... I choose today to post a dark purple maroon orchid, complemented by a little backlighting, which helped to edge out the outline better and a soft focus to highlight my subject

Hope I didn't mess it up too much...
Hmmm, maybe I should have been smarter and taken the easy way out! 😅

This flower is literally reflecting as Crystal Flower and in my opinion, if you see the center part of this flower you will get an image of face. Thanks for sharing this amazing piece of nature with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂
