If your camera has it, one tip is to use a swivel screen and shoot from lower than your eye level looking int o the screen instead of through the viewfinder like this:
Thanks Adê, my camera has a screen but no swivelling... and I cant really focus on the screen, since my AF isn't trustworthy either. But I'll try using the screen more. Thanks for the tip ;)
