Lightplay ( Original Photography)

in #photography7 years ago

Hey guys, so last night me and @ayushijain were trying to shoot some pictures to improve our skills in photography as we really don't know much about it. And we like to try and explore what more can be done to understand the technicalities.

Here are some shots that I tried out with the background as fairy lights to give the bokeh effect. It was such a fun experience and I will be coming up with more photography posts. Let me know what you guys think :)

Just found out about you through @firepower. This is amazing work! Being a sucky photographer I never understood how you manage these effects but it sure is fascinating!

Thanks a lot @things :) I am an amateur myself, seriously. Don't know much about photography :P
But yes, I do love experimenting! <3

Love the juxtaposition of the lights and your subjects. Keep up the great experiments. How would you bring more detail to you subjects since they are the focus but seem a little dark? Unless you were going for the silhouette effects.

Thanks a lot @whotiewho
I deliberately made the objects seem dark to achieve the silhouette effect :)

Very nice shots! For a first attempt they are even more impressive :D what kind of camera and lens did you use?

Hahah Thank you so much :) I used Nikon D3200 with the 18-55 mm lens

Nicely done. Love the depth of field blur you are getting there. The lenses I like to you for many of my projects have to perform well for this blur. I can get a sharp image with pretty much any lens these days, but getting beautiful blur is not so common. I have a few in my kit that are amazing. I have been and will post some examples on my Steemit blog to check out.

Keep up the great work.
