It's shocking indeed. We just don't care enough about the Earth itself enough. And one day, we will all pay the price. I personally, try to care more, then the majority. Hopefully, one day it will be better.

Yup the sea levels are already starting to rise and i think it will become a catastrophe by 2050 unless we do something.
The middle eastern refugee crisis is going to seem minor compared to the global warming one.
Couldnt agree more @numpypython. While we spend our time fighting on economics, the refugees, North Korea, Trump, China... The real war is definitely global warming...this is "the white walkers of our 7 kingdoms"
It is impressive how we are selfish, we do not think about our next generations and we neglect our plateau that maybe we can still enjoy, but if we continue like this our descendants will pay dearly. :(
Couldn't agree more with you @daza1994 ! Our current society is profoundly sick... Deep spiritual changes from within ourselves will be needed to turn the situation...

STOPSo many factors have caused instability , that seem to be now plunging us into a mini ice-age. That may be better for our oceanlife at least 😉
I'm afraid I didn't fully understand what you mean...could you please explain your thoughts a bit more? What do you mean by mini ice age? In which sense will global warming be beneficial for ocean life? Thanks for your comments anyways
The northern hemisphere is suffering more intense cold weather every year now. I meant actually that cooling waters will help to heal our oceans , not warming. The warming has only caused terrible damage and death in the oceans overall.
Very good post. It's incredible how so many people are turning a blind eye to the destruction we are causing, and even worse that others are actively denying that climate change is happening. Thanks for writing. I sincerely hope that the world wakes up to this before it's too late.
couldnt agree more with you my friend @freewheel! the real reasons behind all mankind problems are today's greedy and selfishness society we live on. The "America first" "Europe first" "China first" does not allow to think as responsible flatmates that share the same home...but instead, everyone cares only about cleaning their own room while the common areas like the livingroom, bathroom, kitchen etc... are a dirty mess...
