Through Belgrade

Hello guys!

I decided to introduce you to the most beautiful and biggest cities in Serbia in the following posts. You will have the opportunity to see through the camera and to experience a completely normal day in these cities, and to feel the energy that these cities expand, as well as the specific places that daily visit the inhabitants of these cities. Before all of this, I must say that Belgrade is a very urban city where everything circulates very quickly and in continuity, the time flies, as well as the energy that drives you to everyday activities. This is a city for which you can not remain indifferent, and therefore I will use the quote that says:

"Who had the luck to wake up this morning in Belgrade, it can be considered that he has achieved enough in his life for today. Any further insistence on something would be immodest. "

Kalemegdan fortress - a brief introduction to history

Once upon a time the main stronghold of Belgrade, and today one of the largest and surely the most beautiful parks in Europe. Kalemegdan is one of the most important cultural and historical complexes in Serbia. It was named after the Turkish words "kale" and "mejdan", which means fortresses and battlefield. This fortress was built long ago, still in the 2nd century AD, survived the reign of many nations, and then, in 411, it was completely destroyed by the Hun. Several times it was ruined and rebuilt, it was last renewed in the middle of the 19th Century, when it was turned into the largest park. This fortress is positioned on the junction of the two rivers, the Sava and the Danube and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the entire Belgrade.

Today we will look at this complex from a different angle, through the camera. It is certainly an inevitable location for all foreign tourists visiting this city. There are organized walking tours, sailings and helicopter flying. This fortress, once a symbol of the struggle, hunger and suffering suffered by the Serbian people, has now been transformed into one of the most beautiful places in Serbia. Kalemegdan simply expand positive energy, it can be felt in the air. The altitude that its towers provide in relation to the lower town gives you an unbelievable sense of freedom. It is an indescribable feeling that you can see young parents who walk their children and learn them about the history of their people, see the people in love walking, see the old people who spend their days relaxing after the end of their working life. You can see also many painters and artists who decided to look for their inspiration in this place.I will try to show through your camera the life that this fortress is expanding, as well as a completely normal day at Kalemegdan.
