Next to the Fjord - (Hidden) Beauty of Europe
I will not forget this picture in my mind.
Those horses, peacefully eating and waiting outside, on the slope covered in snow, next to a fjord somewhere in the polar circle.
In the middle of the winter day.
Everything felt so natural.
There were left all alone, not a single person around and that also felt like the normal around.
Scandinavia is magical, isn't it?

In our latitudes they cover horses with blankets during the cold weather, I didn't know that these animals could be so hardy in the cold. But nature must have helped them and adapted them. Poor animals. It's good that at least there are two of them and they will keep each other company.
Funny you say this, as they seemed completely content with the environment.
Probably a species that adapted to like the cold...
