Plana Mountain in the Blue Hour - (Hidden) Beauty of Europe

in #photography2 months ago

One beautiful mountain not so far away from the capital city, Sofia but hey, wait, if it is in black and white, should the blue hour be called a "black hour"? :) Of course, not, as then we'll have to rename the golden hours too.

Now use your imagination and fill in the colors, if you'd like that...

The golden hour will be renamed the silver hour then. 😃 Why not? Wow, this could raise so many questions and food for thought, going from color to black and white photography and the metaphorical and existential meaning of all these terms and processes.🤔
On the other hand, Plana is some kind of magical mountain. And I can't believe I keep using such words for places and things located in this suffering country, but we must not forget, or rather, we must know, that beyond all the slavery that has existed here, this region has a history connected even to the Crusaders, and much of it carries its secrets, locked in names, places of worship, crosses, cemeteries, and so on.

Hm, right, that's the better word, definitely! :)

You're right, some places are loaded with the energy of the past times and it just adds some mysticism if not even more to it.

Still good there are many places that are not turned into concrete shitholes... :) yet...
