The fairy-tale called Thasos - (Hidden) Beauty of Europe

in #photography2 months ago

A beautiful island in Northern Greece to visit in the autumn.

One of the biggest Greek island in that area in a matter of speaking.

So many things to see and try there ;)

Stay tuned for more ;)

And yet, if you stay there for more than two days, you might get tired of beaches, beaches, beaches at some point 😄I don't know, maybe because I don't like the Greek urban architecture and look in this part of the country, or because being on an island has always scared me in some way, that's how I perceive this particular area. I definitely need to see other Greek islands too to make a comparison. 😃 But it's a wonderful place for a beach holiday, really.

Look at it from this perspective - you are always on an island, as the most of the planet surface is water. ;)

Ha ha, that's sooo right 😁 Just today I was reading some fragmentary comments about how water is retained on this round earth, i.e. understand: the earth is not round or it rotates at a tremendous speed, i.e. it spins like a washing machine so that it does not spill. 😂 But just today I am not interested in thinking about these otherwise logical physical laws 🙃

Oh, well, I see, then just have a nice day! :)))
