A Sneak Peak Into The Dark Side Of Paris - The Paris Catacombs

Not many people know that there are hundreds of kilometers of tunnels under the city of Paris. They are relics of a bygone era - nowadays illegal to enter and almost impossible to find. The catacombes de Paris - The Paris Catacombs - are undoubtedly one of the city of light's greatest secrets.

I had the privilege of exploring the catacombs numerous times over the past few years when I was lucky enough to be living in Paris. It was exciting, scary, and sometimes downright stupid. None the less, it was an incredible experience which I will never forget.
