Thank you, @amyswhimzfl! Yes it is shallow but can be dangerous to fall into it because it's freezing cold straight from the glacier. There is just a slow drop of and the ice float by slowly to the sea. So it's a great place to take photos because you can take your time to find the right angel, light and so on.
